The Hollywood United Neighborhood Council is sponsoring a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) class this summer taught by by the Los Angeles Fire Department. The training program furthers the process of citizens understanding their responsibility in preparing for disaster, and increases their ability to help themselves, their family and their neighbors.
A Million Drops will be sponsoring another self defense class. These classes promote public and personal safety, and it will provide this valuable service free-of-charge to members of the community.
The PLUM Committee will review one project on Franklin asking for a Conditional Use Permit upgrade.
The meeting will consider a few Neighborhood Purposes Grants (NPG) for the homeless.
