Those stakeholders who are considering running for one of HUNC’s 10 Neighborhood Council board seats should start the registration process sooner rather than later. Candidates can register here.
For those candidates who have completed their filing, EmpowerLA and the the City Clerk are partnering on a series of free two-hour candidate workshops. These workshops will include tips for:
- Running a successful campaign
- Connecting with voters
- Advocating for issues you’re passionate about
- Writing personal statements
Workshops are being held Citywide January – March 2019. An RSVP is required to ensure there is enough desk space for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet if they have one. See a list of workshops and sign up at http://NCevents.eventbrite.com.
