The Hollywood United Neighborhood Council (HUNC) is thrilled to hold its second candidate forum on March 23 at the Cheremoya School Auditorium from 11am-1pm. Food will be served.
The Transportation and Works committee will review DoT staff changes, the Gower Underpass, Bird scooters, the Ford Theater Viewing Trail and other items.
This meeting will discuss Community Impact Statements, the impact of homeless encampments near Hollywood First Presbyterian,TAP cards, a Homelessness survey and other items.
Be sure to attend the Emergency Preparedness Town Hall on Saturday, March 16. The Hollywood United and Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Councils will be hosting an Emergency Preparedness Town Hall on from 11am- 3pm. Representatives from LAFD, LAPD, and many other City and County departments will be panelists for an in-depth discussion on preparing for fire or other disasters. Hosted information tables will provide materials for disaster preparation. There will also be a screening of the Quake Heroes documentary that is explores the 1994 Northridge Earthquake.
