The Education, Non Profit and Arts Committee will be considering end of fiscal year projects.
We will be reviewing one project that did not make onto Monday’s Agenda
We will be reviewing our move to a new web site platform and finalize expenditures for the end of the fiscal year.
The meeting will address possible support for Ground Game’s Measure H funding work, the Gershwin apartments, the Via Carlotta, illegal garbage dumping and a presentation by Genevieve Liang from Cardborigami and their temporary shelter concept for the homeless proposed in the LA2050 Activation Challenge.
The meeting will address recent local crime and how to combat new criminal activities,. It will also discuss possible a HAM radio classes, Self Defense classes, First Aid/CPR and CERT training and the rash of shoplifting/theft in local businesses.
