Los Angeles Councilmember David Ryu from Council District 4 stopped by the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council’s (HUNC) July board meeting to honor the 12 years that Susan Swan has served as President of HUNC. The certificate was also signed by Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell from Council District 13.
As a founding Boardmember, Susan was instrumental in the creation and development of HUNC. She has successfully guided the organization through a multitude of issues that concern the Hollywood community. She has been a strong advocate for Griffith Park preservation, government transparency and the Neighborhood Council system. The city has been well-served by her tireless efforts to bring community input to city government. Susan will continue serving on the HUNC board assisting in any way she can.
