The candidates who ran and the the stakeholders who voted deserve our gratitude.
The Hollywood United Neighborhood Council (HUNC) elections went off without a hitch. We appreciate all the efforts of the candidates who chose to run for a seat on the board, the stakeholders who came to the candidate forums or mixers and took the time to vote, and those that at the City Clerk’s office who ran a very professional and efficient voting operation. We especially appreciate the efforts of HUNC board members Adam Miller, Andrew Chadsey and Erin Penner who pitched in make these elections happen.
This was an excellent example of citizen democracy and community involvement. Kudos all around.
