Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell today announced the release of a new public resource designed to clarify the Department’s responsibilities, limitations, and longstanding policies related to immigration enforcement. The document, produced in both English and Spanish, titled “Community Policing and Immigration: A Guide to LAPD’s Policies”, is now available to the public.
