The Hollywood Community-Police Advisory Board (CPAB) is excited to present a Hollywood National Night Out Block Party Event, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The event location is the 1300 block of Cole Avenue (between Fountain and Cahuenga).
This is an outdoor, FREE family-friendly event for the Hollywood Community. There will be live musical performances by the Covenant House Jazz band, the Beachwood Orchestra, and Mariachi Arcoiris. Guests can choose from a variety of food and beverage options; In & Out burgers, Chick Fil A sandwiches, Rite Aid ice cream, and Starbucks coffee, mini “Refreshers” and pastries! There will be a photo booth, face-painting artists, balloon animals, bouncy houses, and a truck painting experience for the kiddos. Get an up close look at LAPD special units: motorcycles and bicycles, K-9, LAFD Fire Station 27 and much more.
National Night Out is an annual community–building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The Hollywood National Night Out event is designed to bring the community and the police together in a fun, positive, and relaxed atmosphere. It is a chance for residents, businesses and community groups to get together and make connections.
