LADWP Beachwood Drive Water Main Project Starting Thursday, July 17, 2025
LADWP has been working along Beachwood Dr. in recent months to install a new mainline water pipe in order to improve water system reliability. LADWP is now about to start a new phase of work along Beachwood between Graciosa Dr. and Cheremoya Ave. Work is expected to begin on Thursday, July 17 and last for 3 to 4 months. Work hours will typically be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Because this portion of Beachwood Dr. is significantly narrower than the southern portion, traffic will be reduced to a single lane servicing both directions. Flaggers will be stationed at either end of the project to direct traffic. Street parking will be restricted; please observe all “No Parking/Tow Away” signs. Parking will be restored to normal after each work day. Deliveries and emergency services will not be affected.
Though this project is only on Beachwood, it has potential impact on area during construction in terms of parking availability and traffic.
