18th Annual Disability Art Exhibition is now open at the Henry P. Rio Bridge Gallery inside L.A. City Hall
If you work at City Hall or plan to visit during October, the City of LA encourages you to stop by and experience the creativity of 46 artists with disabilities whose work is on display.
The City of Los Angeles Department on Disability, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs, presents the Eighteenth Annual Disability Art Exhibition. This year – 2025 – marks both the 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM).
In celebration of the ADA 35, the City of LA is featuring artists from the ADA 35 Disability Art Showcase held in July.
In October, LA celebrates NDEAM, which brings attention to disability employment and celebrates the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent,” recognizes the many contributions of people with disabilities, including those with mental health conditions and other nonobvious disabilities, to America’s workplaces and economy.
