Increased Enforcement
To manage traffic flow and congestion, CD 4 has requested additional staffing from the LAPD and LADOT for the holiday weekend (Friday, July 3rd – Sunday, July 5th). Please note that staffing hours have been adjusted to 11:00 am – 9:00 pm to accommodate expected peak crowds. These hours include time for roll call, equipment preparation, and transit. Similar staffing requests are in place for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the rest of July and August.
Preferential Parking District 320 (PPD 320)
The expansion of PPD 320 is in effect, with “No Parking” restrictions strictly enforced on residential streets in Lake Hollywood Estates on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- Visitor Parking: Please ensure guests display valid guest PPD permits. Visitor day permits can be purchased online here.
- Resident Parking: When parked on city streets, ensure your PPD permit is clearly visible to avoid ticketing.
Fireworks Safety
Fireworks are strictly illegal in the City of Los Angeles and pose a severe fire hazard to our hillsides, wildlife, and parks.
- Reporting: Please do not call 9-1-1 to report fireworks unless you are witnessing an injury, a fire, or an immediate emergency.
