The City of Los Angeles invites stakeholders to participate in the Neighborhood Council Elections playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient voting process.
- Poll Worker Eligibility Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older by Election Day
- Speak, read, and write English (Bilingual skills are desirable)
- Provide their own transportation to and from the polling location
- Submit an application by the deadline
- Work the entire Election Day
Poll worker assignments will be based on operational needs, including, but not limited to, the expected voter turnout, election complexity, and language needs.
Candidates or their families cannot serve as poll workers in the candidate’s NC. Candidates are welcome to serve as a poll worker in other Neighborhood Councils within the City.
Deadline for submissions is 30 days before the NC election on which one wants to assist.
