The Hollywood United Ad Hoc Hollywood Sign Committee worked from June 2022 through December 2022 to produce a report on issues related to tourism and the Hollywood Sign . The report incorporated input from a series of public meetings and was presented in draft form for adoption by the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council on January 9, 2023 at the Council’s regular board meeting.
Sixty community members and stakeholders attended the January 9 meeting where the report was summarized and presented by the Chair of the Hollywood Sign Committee. After the presentation, twenty-five stakeholders offered public comment. The report was adopted unanimously by members present with one recusal. This is the final version of the report as adopted and the presentation that was given at the board meeting.
