2018 Hollywood National Night Out
The LAPD’s Hollywood Division is hosting a National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 7. You are encouraged to meet your with local police and community leaders at this gathering.
Hollywood United Sponsors a Summer CERT Class
The Hollywood United Neighborhood Council is sponsoring a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) class this summer taught by by the Los Angeles Fire Department. The training program furthers the process of citizens understanding their responsibility in preparing for disaster, and increases their ability to help themselves, their family and their neighbors.
Second Free Self Defense Class
A Million Drops will be sponsoring another self defense class. These classes promote public and personal safety, and it will provide this valuable service free-of-charge to members of the community.
