PUBLIC INPUT AT NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL MEETINGS Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the agenda that are within the Board’s jurisdiction will be heard during the General Public Comment period. Please note that under the Brown Act, the Board is prevented from acting on a matter that you bring to its attention during the General Public Comment period; however, the issue raised by a member of the public may become the subject of a future Board meeting. Public comment is limited to 2 minutes per speaker, unless adjusted by the presiding officer of the Board. The Neighborhood Council system enables meaningful civic participation for all Angelenos and serves as a voice for improving government responsiveness to local communities and their needs. We are an advisory body to the City of Los Angeles, comprised of stakeholder volunteers who are devoted to the mission of improving our communities.

    Every item on the Consent Calendar will be considered bundled and will be voted on as a single item. If a Board Member has an objection to an item being on the Consent Calendar, they need to raise that objection to an item and ask to have that item or items considered separately.   14. Hollywood Dell Civic Association: Presentation on a proposed Neighborhood Purposes Grant (NPG) of up to $2,500 for the Annual Hollywood Dell Neighborhood Block Party on June 21, 2025, including event rentals, setup, and outreach materials.
  15. Hollywood Hills Fire Safe Council: Presentation on a proposed Neighborhood Purposes Grant (NPG) of up to $1,750 for food items in support of the Wildfire Preparedness Fair on June 7, 2025.
  16. Discussion of Mural at the curve of Tamarind and Yucca, 90028. This is following up on an item from a HUNC Meeting February 16, 2023, which was postponed when the Board went into hiatus, in which the Board discussed writing a letter to CD13, advocating for the removal of a mural which was not erected legally or in compliance with State regulations on “transportation art”.
  17. Discussion of possible CIS recommendation for CF 23-0701, regarding the LA City Council Action to make the temporary fence on Mulholland Highway beginning at Canyon Lake Drive and running along a portion of the Lake Hollywood Park perimeter east to Durand Drive, permanent.
