In the City of Los Angeles, it is illegal to use, possess, sell, give, or discharge fireworks — including sparklers, firecrackers, bottle rockets, aerial fireworks, and so-called “safe and sane” fireworks.
A few seconds of fireworks can end with an ambulance, a fire engine, an emergency room, or worse.
Don’t light fireworks. Don’t be next.
