Northbound U.S. 101 fully closed at Barham Boulevard from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m., Oct.7-9
Caltrans announces overnight closures on U.S. Highway 101 (U.S. 101) in Los Angeles, Monday, Oct. 5 through Friday, Oct. 9, for paving work. This work is part of a pavement rehabilitation project on U.S. Highway 101 (U.S. 101) in the Cahuenga Pass.
Northbound U.S. 101 will be reduced to two lanes overnight between Highland Avenue and State Route 170 (SR-170), and reduced to one lane from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. (4 a.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday morning). There will be an overnight full closure of all northbound U.S. 101 lanes at Barham Boulevard from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7 through Friday Oct. 9.
Southbound U.S. 101 will be reduced to two lanes overnight between SR-170 and Cahuenga Blvd.
There may be rolling overnight full closures at connectors and ramps as the contractor moves between locations. Detour routes will be marked.
The following lane closures are subject to change and are scheduled as follows:
Monday night, Oct. 5 through Tuesday morning, Oct. 6:
Northbound U.S. 101
- Up to three lanes will be closed on northbound U.S. 101 from Highland Avenue to SR-170 starting as early as 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. and up to four lanes closed from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.
Southbound U.S. 101
- Up to three lanes will be closed on southbound U.S. 101 from SR-170 to Highland Avenue starting as early as 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Tuesday night, Oct. 6 through Friday morning, Oct. 9:
Northbound U.S. 101
- Up to three lanes will be closed on northbound U.S. 101 from Highland Avenue to SR-170 starting as early as 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Full closure of northbound U.S. 101 at Barham Boulevard from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m.
Southbound U.S. 101
- Up to three lanes will be closed on southbound U.S. 101 from SR-170 to Highland Avenue starting as early as 10 p.m. until 9 a.m.
Motorists will be detoured at Barham Boulevard off-ramp: continuing north on Cahuenga Boulevard East, north on W.C. Fields Drive to the northbound U.S. 101 on-ramp.
